Nerja Holiday Home, El Monte Bajo,fabulous holiday villa with beautiful private garden and pool. We think El Monte Bajo is little short of heaven on earth - never to be found in a holiday brochure - our family and friends who have stayed there know ´ they´ve found a little gem, a secret to return to over and over again! Set in mature gardens in a stunning setting, the rustic style house is entered through the kitchen which is equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven, hob,kettle and toaster. A washing machine plus iron and board are also provided. La Cocina, the homely welcoming kitchen gives way to a selection of four quaint reception rooms reminiscent of a time gone by. There are two dining rooms, one overlooking the garden and the see below, an inner sitting room with a wood burning fire.

A spacious communal lounge with inbuilt furniture, seating for about nine people, lots of glorious light, dual aspect views of the mountains and the sea. Hidden away in an antique wooden cupboard, a widescreen television and a satellite decoder. Doors and furniture have been hand crafted from reclaimed wood, there are three double bedrooms, enough to sleep six adults ( the additional reception rooms can accommodate additional children if required).El Monte Bajo sits with all it grace and majesty in an elevated south facing position, gazing out over a tropical garden with the sea lapping against the shore beyond.

Some 45 minutes by car from Malaga airport, moments from the beach and minutes from the coastal pueblo of Nerja, the house and gardens exudes dignity and charm enough to earn your respect. Properties like this are not built, they evolve over the decades or centuries.There are no noisy neighbours around here, instead your views are protected for now and the future. The finca or farmouse is an appealing terracotta roofed home with generous views -a hidden jewel not visible from the main road and known only to a handful of locals, this is natural paradise. hat being said, civilization is not too far away, a five minute car ride or a 20 minute walk along the beach into town.
