Los Pedregales is a country park of 18 hectares located just 4 kms outside Estepona.

It nestles in the foothills of the Los Reales and is home to many indigenous Mediterranean plants and wildlife.

los pedregales estepona Footpaths wend their way through this peaceful area between natural rocky outcrops with an abundance of wild flowers,herbs and shrubs.Beautiful vistas of Estepona and the sea can be spied at various vantage points.

One of the main events to take place in the park is the annual Romeria when homage is paid to San Isidro Labrador, a Saint that has a had a hermitage in his honour in the middle of this lovely park since 1988.

But at any time of year it is worth a visit, there are picnic and barbeque areas as well as a children“s play area, swimming and paddling pools and a small bar where you can buy drinks and ices. the pedregales park estepona There are plenty of areas for the children to let off steam in or have a game of football while at the same time being the perfect spot for anyone wanting to get out into the countryside without having to trek too far.

If you wish to stay a night or 2 then it is possible to rent one of the charming wooden chalets that have been constructed in the park or bring your own tent and try the camping site.

Los Pedregales is easy to find,coming from Estepona take the main road through the Poligono, go over the bridge just passed the petrol station then take the third exit on the roundabout, signposted to Casares, and proceed along this road approximately 4kms. until you come to the park on your left hand side.
