Villa Sara is a charming Spanish holiday chalet offering comfortable holiday accommodation on 2 levels in an excellent location close to the sea at Mar Menor on the Costa Calida, a lovely under developed beach on the Murcian coast.
The downstairs part of the chalet is 100 sq.m. and comprises of a living/dining room with comfortable sofa and chairs, a solid wood dining suite and a t.v which provides channels in both Spanish and English.There is a fully fitted kitchen with a ceramic hob,full oven, fridge/freezer and all the pots, pans, crockey and glass ware etc. that you will need to make your stay here a comfortable one.There are also 4 good sized bed rooms, 3 doubles and one twin, on this floor and a shower room and toilet, here you will also find the washing machine.

Outside stairs lead up to an independant studio apartment of 70 sq.m. which comprises of a it's own kitchen area, a living/dining room with t.v. One double and one single bed room plus a shower and a small terrace which is furnished with chairs so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views.The whole of the property is set on its own private land extending to some 330 m2.A patio surrounds the chalet and offers a variety of sunny and shady areas to relax in, there is also plenty of space to park your car.A BBQ area is provided for your enjoyment along with a stone dining table and seats and sunbeds.

Immediately across the road you have access to the Mar Menor, a salty lagoon separated from the Mediterranean sea by a sand bar 22 km in length and with a variable width from 100 to 1200m. It has a surface area of nearly 170 km, a coastal length of 70 km, and warm and clear water with relatively high salinity, which does not exceed 7m in depth, absolutely perfect for bathing.The beach is unspoilt and sandy and perfect for bathing and enjoying this wild and beautiful stretch of coast line.Villa Sara is very well positioned to explore the less developed and more peaceful region of Costa Calida.The nearest large town is Cartegena, about 15 minutes away, where you will not only find some superb bars and restaurants but also many reminders of earlier inhabitants including the Moors, Romans and Phonecians.
In fact this whole part of the Murcian coast has many places of outstanding historical and biological interest to visit, the Mar Menor, which is opposite the villa is one such protected area as is the fabulous and unspoilt Calblanque National Park.
