The delightful Marina of Duquesa, or to give it it's Spanish title, Puerto de la Duquesa, is situated on the western end of the Costa del Sol between Estepona and Gibraltar.

It is a very picturesque port which has been left alone by the high rise package holiday hotels and as such has a more relaxed and peaceful ambience than other parts of the Costa del Sol. It is flanked either side by two excellent blue flag beaches, both with "chiringitos" or beach bars, serving excellent fresh sea food. In fact Duquesa Port, in addition to the pleasure craft, also has a working fishing fleet which lands fresh fish daily. The waterfront houses many excellent bars and restaurants of varying nationality offering a good range of cuisine at reasonable prices.Many of the bars have live music and entertainment and generally stay open to the early hours of the morning.All in all Duquesa Port is the kind of place to unwind and have fun. Whatever your age or type of holiday you are looking for you will be more than pleased with what Duquesa has to offer.

Across the road from the port is Duquesa Golf Course ith its own hotel and club house. It is an excellent Trent Jones course which demands concentration and straight driving. It also has some superb sea views which can be a little distracting!
