Tel : 952383140 Aqua Park A superb aqua park at Mijas Costa on the N340 open from 10.00 0`clock in the morning, admission 14,50 euros for adults and 9.50 euros for4-12 year olds. Aqua Park Torremolinos Another brilliant Costa del Sol attaction, Torremolinos AquaPark is situated just 10 minutes from Torremolinos it is well signposted fromthe N340. It opens at 10.00 am. Tel : 952388888. Isla Magica, Seville. Whilst not strictly speaking on the Costa del Sol the superb Isla magica at seville is definitely worth a visit as is the magnificant city of Seville itself.
Bonsai Museum, Marbella. An excellent collection of some 300 examples of Bonsai Trees. Open from 10.00-13.30 and from 16.00-19.00. Entrance Fee 3.00 euros.Born to be Wild, Jeep Safaris. Born to be Wild is a company specialising in adventures, Ecotourism, active tourism, outdoor activities, corporate events and Team Building. Visit their web site. Botanical Gardens Malaga. Spend a pleasant day at the Botanical Gardens in Malaga.The gardens have many magnificent trees and plants from all around the world. Molino de Inca Botanical Gardens in Torremolinos. Beautiful botanical gardens and a fully restored and working water mill combine to make this a very enjoyable excursion. Costa del Sol Casinos For a great night out visit one of the 3 excellent casinos on the Costa del Sol. Cable Car, Benalmadena The teleferico, or cable car, from Benalmadena to the top of Monte Calamorro is a fairly new Costa del Sol attraction.It allows you to take in the most fabulous sea views. At the top you can walk along the well marked footpaths and take in the wonferful views. If you wish you make take a bike with you to the top and then cycle down to the bottom.Open 7 days a week during July and August from 10.00 a.m. Adults 6.50 euros onae way and 12.00 euors return. Children 3-7 years4.75 euros one way and 8.50 euros return. Crocodile Park, Torremolinos. A super Costa del Sol attraction, well worth everybodies while visiting.There are around 300 crocs. on display, plus a childen's mini zoo. In addition it has a very successful breeding programme and there is a good chance that you will get the opportunity to hold a baby crocodile. Opens daily at 10.00 a.m. Adults 9.00 euros, children over 4 6.50 euros. Fuengirola Zoo. The recently totally overhauled Fuengirola Zoo is an attraction here on the Costa del Sol to be proud of. It is quite small and set right in the heart of Fuengirola but has been designed and laid out in such away to give the visitor a feeling of spaciousness much beyond it's limits. The animal enclosures are very well designed and for the most part bar free. Definitely a worth while trip.Open daily from 10.00 a.m. Adults 13.50 euros, children 3-9 years 9 euros. The Rock of Gibraltar. No trip to the Costa del Sol would be complete withòut a trip to Gibraltar. Steeped in history it is also a haven for tax free shoppers and of course it is home to the only wild troop of apes in Europe. You can also take a trip around the bay to view the wild dolphins or visit the magical St. Micheal´s caves.
Mijas Races. A first for the Costa del Sol is the Race Course at Mijas, or Hippodromo Costa del Sol. Spend a very enjoyable day at the races, or in fact through the summer months it is an evening at the races.
The Picasso Museum, Malaga. Now housing a marvellous selection of the great artists works, the Picasso Museum in Malaga, birth place of Pablo Picasso, is a welcome addition to the ever growing list of Costa del Sol attractions.Opening hours:Tuesdays -Thursdays: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm,Fridays - Saturdays: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Sundays and Holidays: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, December 24th and 31th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Closed Mondays, December 25th, and January 1st. Quad Rentals If you want to add a bit more excitement to your holiday then try renting a quad. St. Michael's Caves, Gibraltar. The beautiful St. Michael's Caves in Gibraltar should definitely not be missed.The wonderful stalactites and stalagmites are quite breath taking. Sea Fishing Estepona. Take a trip with Prestige Fishing Tours at Estepona Port and catch yourself a marlin or tuna. Trips are well organized with an English speaking guide,all fishing gear, bait and soft drinks included. Sea-Life, Benalmadena Sea-Life at Benalmadena Marina is a quite unique and magical exhibition of over 5,000 different sea creatures from around the globe.It is open daily from 10.00 a.m.
Selwo Marina. Also at Benalmadena, Selwo Marina is another fabulous aquatic attraction.The dolphin and sea lion displays are not to be missed. In addition to which there are some colourful parrot exhibitions and a wonderful penguinarium. Open daily between 10.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m.Entrance fee: 3-7 year olds 9.90 euros. Adults 13.90 euros. Selwo Wildlife Park Selwo Wildlife Park near Estepona is yet one more of the many exceptional Costa del Sol attractions that have opened up in recent years. It is a large wildlife park with much to see and do so give yourself a full day there and really get the most out of it. Tivoli World. Tivoli World at Arroyo de la Miel is much more than just a funfair it is a fantastic evening out, with excellent shows, lovely gardens and restaurants as well as all the fun of the fair. La Isla Magica, Seville. Whilst not actually on the Costa del Sol this superb theme park is well worth a visit as is the magnificent city of Seville itself. Viva Andalucia Trips.
