The Casa Luna holiday villa is a beautiful detached country property consisting of a 2 bedroomed house with an independant studio apartment attached, thus accommodating upto six people. It is set in the heart of the delightful rolling countryside of Andalucia, midway between the village of Gaucin and the larger town of Jimena.It sits up high overlooking a lake and beyond to unspoilt hills and meadows with Gibraltar and Africa in the distance.
The villa is set in 12 acres of peace and tranquility along with the owners three bedroomed farm house. However both houses are totally separate and independant of each other.
The main villa has two bedrooms, one double and one twin .The house is full of rustic charm with beamed ceilings, terracota floors, a log burning stove in the living room and country farmhouse style furniture.The downstairs is open plan with a large living/ dining room and a pretty kitchen which is well equipped with a full cooker, fridge/freezer,microwave and automatic washing machine. Satelite T.V. is available in the livingroom.
Outside there is a lovely large patio where you can enjoy al fresco dining whilst taking in the panoramic views across the lake and unspoilt countryside beyond.
Steps lead down from there to the charming studio apartment which will comortably accommodate two people.It has itīs own kitchen and shower room along with an open -plan living /dining room which also features a comfortable double bed on a raised plinth.There is a separate patio area outside the apartment with steps leading passed Casa Luna and on up to the swimming pool.
The two properties together offer spacious and superior accommodation full of rustic charm and character in the most delightful setting imaginable and are absolutely ideal for a party of six who perhaps want to be able to spread out a bit and not be on top of each other. It is possible however to rent just the villa alone, see rates below.
The immediate environs of the Casa Luna holiday villa offer many peaceful country walks with only the sound of birdsong to disturb the peace. The property lies at the end of a 2 km. private track so there is no traffic to disturb you or pollute the clean fresh air.It really is the most wonderful setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Gaucin.
The village of Gaucin is about 10 minutes away by car and here you will find a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. It is a typical Andalucian white village where the traditions of Spanish rural life are still very much in evidence from the bull running at Easter to the Feria on the first weekend in August.
Jimena.
The larger town of Jimena is about 10 minutes in the opposite direction.There is a station here from where you can take the train to Ronda. This is a lovely scenic excursion with the historic town of Ronda at the end of it. The whole area is a wealth of unspoilt and beautiful countryside with much to see and explore. The bird watching is amongst the best in Europe and the spring wild flowers are a delight to behold.
Costa del Sol.
Should you tire of all the peace and tranquility at Casa Luna Holiday Villa then the Costa del Sol is about 40 minutes away with all the good clean beaches, shops, bars, restaurants,nightlife and golf courses associated with that area.
Andalucia is a wonderful place to go Horse Riding and if you wish to do so then your hosts at Casa Luna, Jaqui and José, can arrange it for you at the nearby stables of El Repilado.
In short the villa offers a beautiful spacious holiday home surrounded by peace and tranquility but at the same time is a good base from which to explore both Andalucia and the Cost del Sol.

All rates are per week, per property.
Low Season :-Oct.- April ( excluding Christmas and Easter) 550.00 pounds sterling.
Mid- Season :-May, June, September, Christmas & Easter 675.00 pounds sterling.
High Season:-July & August. 750.00 pounds sterling.
The rate is for the villa and studio apartment together and is fully inclusive of all gas,electricity,linen, towels and a welcome pack.
Change over day is normally Wednesday but we can be more flexible off season.
Villa Only:-
If you are a party of 2-4 then you could take the villa on itīs own.The charge for this is,
High Season:- 675.00 pounds sterling.
Mid- Season:- 550.00 pounds sterling.
Low season :- 400.00 pounds sterling.
