Villa Tranquilla is a lovely, large villa set in the peaceful and exclusivedevelopment of Don Pedro close to Estepona on the Western end of the Costa del Sol. It has been tastefully and thoughtfully converted into four independant apartments (one of which is occupied by the owners) and as such offers excellent holiday accommodationfor parties from 2-14.
The villa is set in beautiful established gardens of half an acre with lovelyviews of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa. There is a large 8 metre swimming pool with a spacious sun terrace for soaking up the Mediterranean sun,in addition to which all the apartments have their own patios fully equipped withwrought iron and ceramic patio furniture and gas BBQs.
All of the apartments are extremely well fitted, furnished and equipped.They each have a gas hob and oven,microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezerelectric kettles, coffee maker,ceiling fans, foot spa, hair dryer,iron and board,satellite T.V, C.D player and radio and board games.In addition there is even a library of videos, c.d.s and books foryou to select from. They all have ample storage space in the form of built incupboards and the kitchens are well provided with pots, pans,crockery,glassware etc.
There is a very large garage in which has been installed a washing machine(soap powder provided), a table tennis table and a dart board.In short the owners have really gone to alot of trouble to ensure that their guestshave a comfortable stay and want for nothing.

Fountain Apartment.This two bedroom apartment faces the pool and has one patio in the front overlooking the sea with a second secluded one to the side with a feature fountain.This patio is accessible via French windows from both bedrooms. The main living area comprises a comfortable living/dining room with an open-plan kitchen area.A door then leads to a spacious hall way off which are the two bedrooms,one double with en-suite shower room and one twin, and the second shower room. There is also an adjoining door leading to the one bedroomed Pool apartment so for larger parties this could be unlocked to allow access.
Pool Apartment.The Pool apartment, as it´s name implies, also overlooks the pool and the sea. It boasts a very large living/dining room with an open-plan kitchen and one large bedroom with a king size bed.This actually un-zips to make twin beds should you prefer.There is an en-suite shower room.The lounge is large enough to accommodate an extra bed so with the convenience of the adjoining door the Pool and Fountain apartments together could actually provide accommodation for a party of up to 7 guests.
The Palm Terrace Apartment.
This lovely apartment sits back from the other two and therefore offers slightly more seclusion.It has a pleasant view over the lush gardens and faces south west. The patio is equipped with it´s own sun beds. It consists of a comfortable living/diningroom with a separate kitchen, 1 twin and one very large double bedroom 18´x16´.This has an en-suite full bathroom with separate shower cubical. In addition there is a further shower room. Both the showers are fitted with "big heads" thus giving superb luxury showers. There is a single chair bed in the master bed room and a double sofa bed in the lounge so the apartment can easily accommodate a large party.

Estepona and the Western Costa del Sol
Villa Tranquilla is ideally located to take advantage of all that the Western end of the Costa del Sol has to offer. The nearest town, about 5 minutes away by car, is Estepona which has much to recomend it. At the same time as being an up and coming resort it has also managed to maintain much of its´fishing village heritage and the cobbled backstreets and pretty plazas are a delight to explore.There is also a lovely "Paseo Maritimo," promenade, all the way along the length of its´clean, sandy beach.As is to be expected there is a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants in addition to which there is Estepona Port which also has many bars, restaurants and nightspots.
Duquesa Port, one of the prettiest marinas on the Costa del Sol, is also within easy reach of Villa Tranquilla and as well as having a good selection of bars and restaurants also has an excellent golf course. In fact there are many good golf courses all within easy reach of the Villa. Gibraltar too is only a short drive away, about 20 minutes,and is always well worth a visit.
